Derrick Smith was driven to join the Black Jax PAC because of his passion for recognizing, celebrating, and advocating for African Americans in the Jacksonville community.
Outside of BJP, Smith spends his time volunteering as a mentor for African Americans currently operating and/or spearheading their own businesses. He also offers consulting services on freight transportation issues.
