Learn More About the Central Mission and Driving Forces Behind the Black Jax PAC

Our Mission:

The mission of Black Jax PAC (BJP) is to enhance the lives of African Americans in the greater Jacksonville area by advocating for local, multi-county, and statewide legislation and initiatives which support economic development, social justice, public education, leadership development, health care, financial sustainability, and voter education.

We will enable and support comprehensive changes and reforms by backing  initiatives whose values align with our own and by opposing  initiatives that would function counter to the wellbeing of our community.

Our Vision:

The vision of Black Jax PAC is to help shape the public agenda and improve our collective standard of living by breaking the cycle of poverty and other forms of inequities that has been — and continues to be — a constraint upon the African American community of Jacksonville.

Our Purpose:

The purpose of the BJP is to advocate for and/or support local, multi-county, and statewide initiatives that endorse legislation, policies, programs, and projects that positively impact the African American community of Jacksonville.
